Energy transition lecture series

Start of the "Energy transition" lecture series on 15 November 2023 at phaeno

The energy transition is a topic that we see in the media every day. But what does it actually mean for industry or the energy supply? In November and December, guests will receive concentrated knowledge on the energy transition directly from research in the phaeno Science Theatre. Admission to the lectures is free.

To coincide with the special exhibition "Power2Change: Mission Energiewende", the Braunschweigische Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft and the Lower Saxony Academy of Sciences in Göttingen have invited a total of four speakers from different disciplines who are researching the topic of the energy transition for the new lecture series.

The series kicks off with the lecture "Critical metal resources of the energy transition" by Prof. Gerhard Wörner, University of Göttingen, on 15 November at 6.30 pm in the phaeno Science Theatre. He will explore the important question of whether our metal resources are sufficient for the mobility and climate transition.
