Science with charm and humour!
Four experts will compete against each other in the phaeno Slam on Thursday, 7 September at 19:00: The slammers each have ten minutes to present their favourite research project to the audience.
From clever machines, tricks against cyber attacks and incredibly fast methods of DNA sequencing to mini probes against vascular diseases - the audience at the phaeno Science Theatre from 7 p.m. can expect an unusual mix of the latest scientific findings, presented in a refreshing and fun way.
Under the moderation of Dr André Lampe, there will once again be plenty to marvel at and laugh about. Between the lectures, the presenter will spice up the event with live experiments on current topics. At the end, the audience will decide which of the four slammers is the winner and has given the best presentation.
Tickets cost €8 (concessions €5) and are available at the phaeno box office or at the evening box office .
